The Flash is now on view at the Big Gay Art Show at Sedona Arts Center—and it’s daring viewers to look closer. Beneath the vibrant layers and the magnetized wink of modesty lies a figure both exposed and empowered. This is not just a body—it’s a statement. A challenge. A flash of truth in a world too often uncomfortable with it.
This painting wouldn’t exist without the bravery of my model, who offered not just their form, but their trust. Their willingness to be seen allowed me to go further with this piece than I’d imagined. I’m deeply grateful.

The Big Gay Art Show runs June 6 through July 25—a vibrant, unapologetic celebration of LGBTQ+ artists and perspectives. It’s an honor to hang my truth on the walls of such a courageous exhibition.
